About this property

This place is just absolutely delightful. With all the beauty of timber floors and a classic design that feels so incredibly welcoming and homely, this property is presented beautifully. From the front to the back, and everywhere in between, it's simply a charming place to be. The floor plan shows you a whole lot of detail, as does the video tour. You can see the home room by room, and the tour takes you through all the ins and outs. But nothing beats coming to see it for yourself. There's something about getting the feel for a place when you're actually there that takes this whole journey to the next level. We are getting very internet-based these days, and after a while it all just blurs into one big mess of information. But there's no information quite like what the other five senses transmit to your brain when you come and experience a property in person. This one has all the feelings going on. It definitely looks amazing. It's a double brick and tile home, so it feels solid. It's set in a beautiful position within an established neighbourhood, and from my experience in this area, it's a quiet part of town, so it's pleasing to the ears as well. It's immaculately clean and incredibly well cared for, so it smells great. Out the back there's a veggie garden and a couple of fruit trees, so it even tastes fantastic. If I was to deduct points for anything, it would be the kumquat tree, because those things taste weird. But then again, they look great. So I think it's 100% for everything. The beautiful timber floorboards throughout the home look amazing, and there is a real warmth and character to the way it's all been put together. The lounge room features an open fireplace as its centrepiece. Whilst it isn't currently in use, it's something you could bring back into action, install a slow-combustion fire within the space, or perhaps even go with gas. When you've got a feature like this, you've got options. The main bedroom is at the front of the home, and adding to that five-senses practicality, it features roller shutters. You can keep the room beautifully dark, even when the summer sun eagerly wakes you at 4am. You're in control of the darkness, and you can sleep right through it all. The lounge room window also benefits from roller shutters. Bedrooms two and three are both of a good size, and the bathroom is well appointed. The kitchen is a fantastic space, offering ample storage, the practicality of gas cooking and an electric oven, plus a very attractive outlook across the backyard. There's also a meals area incorporated into this space, and it all looks and works together so well. That links beautifully to the outdoor entertaining area because it's all about indoor-outdoor living here. The spaces are wonderfully intertwined. The large deck at the rear of the home is a fantastic place for entertaining, with plenty of room for everybody to come together. It's surrounded by established gardens and complemented by excellent storage, veggie gardens, a fire pit area, and a very attractive aviary that creates a wonderful backdrop to your time outdoors. WHERE IT IS What a brilliant location. Just a short walk to Challis Train Station, you have the convenience of being close to everything while still coming home to a leafy, established neighbourhood. Schools, shops, the hospital, public transport and a host of other everyday conveniences are all close by, making this an exceptionally appealing place to live.
