How does StMate value a property?
StMate uses an automated valuation model (AVM) built on recent comparable sales near the property. It matches homes by bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, distance and recency, weights the closest and most recent sales most heavily, and produces an estimate with a likely low–high range and a confidence rating. The number is computed from real sales data, not generated by a language model.

How accurate is an AI property valuation?
Accuracy depends on how many strong comparable sales exist nearby, which is why each estimate includes a confidence rating and a price range rather than a single hard number. In areas with many recent, similar sales the estimate is tight and reliable; in thin markets it is wider and flagged as lower confidence. It is a strong starting point but not a substitute for a formal valuation or a bank-ordered appraisal.
Can I see why the AI arrived at a number?
