There is the family friendly local hotel, The Steampacket, plus an easy access boat ramp to the river, as well as the well regarded River Café. Batemans Bay is only a 10 klms drive and offers most of the shops, clubs and restaurants you could need, plus a great selection of beaches both north and south of the Bay. The cosmopolitan city of Canberra is less than a 2 hour drive away.
