Life in Broadbeach Waters revolves around the water as much as the land. Kayaking, paddleboarding and boating off your own pontoon are part of everyday routine for many residents, and the canals offer a genuine sense of escape despite being so close to the coast's busiest tourist precinct.

It's a car-friendly suburb, though the light rail adds a genuine alternative for those commuting toward the coast's employment hubs.

The nearby Isle of Capri and Chevron Island precincts add further waterside walking paths and cafes just a few minutes away, while Broadbeach's foreshore parkland and the beach itself are only a short drive or ride from most homes in the suburb.
