Located just off the Coorow-Greenhead Road, around 3 hours drive north of Perth, a realignment of boundary subdivision is being carried out to form an outstanding environmental offset, carbon sequestration and secluded getaway block. Nestled alongside an extensive nature reserve and within the Shire of Coorow, itself recognised as a premier biodiversity hotspot, "Bikaner" consists of approximately 682 hectares of mainly sandy and sandy loam soils, a good portion of which were cleared for agriculture and farmed for a period before the property was purchased by a carbon sequestration company who established a plantation of mallee trees to sequester carbon from the atmosphere and generate carbon credits. The plantation remains under the ownership and control of the owners of the carbon rights, while the remainder of the property lends itself to alternate uses. There is a large portion of the property covered by remnant and regrowth vegetation, where native wildlife and introduced animals roam. This area amounts to around half the area of the block (300 hectares approx.) and is large enough to provide a natural terrain adventure experience. This portion of the property stands out for its proliferation of wildflowers appearing seasonally. For the weekend adventurer the property features numerous secluded, cleared areas suited to recreational activities.
