Dowrene Farm

This 80 hectare property is located on the corner of Yerriminup and Yarralena roads approximately 18 kilometres west of Cranbrook and 28 kilometres east of Frankland. There is an estimated 5.4 hectares of remnant bush which is fenced to allow for regrowth and a further 10 hectares which has been revegetated with native trees and understorey. This area has also been fenced. A mains power line runs through the eastern side of the property. The property has bitumen road frontage and is set high in the landscape with expansive views looking southeast towards the Stirling ranges. The land has excellent soil types being granite loams and duplex gravelly loams. The boundary fence is in very good condition being Ringlock with steel and timber posts. There are three dams one of which is approx 3,000cu mts and is suitable for livestock. There is an estimated 60.6 hectares of cleared land which is currently being used to run livestock but it can also be utilised for cereal and pulse crops or Canola.
