Obviously, we've loved the backyard. Cooking in the kitchen and enjoying the peaceful green views has been a real joy. The privacy of being a rear block with low maintenance gardens and green, open space has been such a blessing to us in all seasons. Having space for the trampoline and jungle gym when our boys were smaller was great and there is always plenty of room for dinner parties with BBQ's in the freestanding firepit. It is a beautifully presented home. The colour palette is peaceful and refined. The warm golden hue from the wooden floors is somehow cooling in summer and warming in winter. All rooms have good natural light and airflow and the built in storage throughout the home and garage has helped keep everything tidy and orderly. The back patio is a delight to sit under and read a book or two and the trifold doors and window layout throughout the house have provided lovely airflow all year. The custom kitchen, bathrooms and laundry are thoughtfully designed to give maximum storage and function beautifully all while looking elegant at all times. The master bedroom has its own ensuite while the main bathroom retains a bath for the household and has been a much-loved feature throughout the years! With nearly 50 fruit trees and vertical gardens for leafy greens and herbs, you'll be delighted by the goodies that your land can provide, with very little effort on your part. Nedlands, in the heart of the Western Suburbs, is a great area to live in. Great schools, close to the city, Claremont, Fremantle, UWA, Methodist Ladies College, PLC, Christ Church College, public transport etc we've always really enjoyed the convenience this location has offered. Yet, the home and backyard are both pleasantly quiet for such a central location. The very local Taylor Rd IGA is a delight to shop in, the beaches are close enough to pop down to as the fancy takes you and the large established trees and parks throughout the neighbourhood all lend to a very refined life experience that not many people get the luxury of enjoying. In summary, this has been our home for over 10 years and it's been a great home. We've raised our boys here and enjoyed many good times yet it is time for us to move on.
