About this property

Located on a wide corner allotment providing excellent off street access is this 50s brick cottage that is neat enough to live in now but would easily lend itself to maximum improvement. Of course West is one of Geelong's most sought after suburbs so getting in at this price is often very difficult. Securing a good sized plot of 420sqm approx is also quite a challenge especially given the corner plot maximising your yard space. Retaining a lot of its retro charm some features of this era were larger rooms and ornate features. A very comfortable home to live in as it is should you blow your budget with the purchase with a view to put the renovations in place some time down the track. Otherwise it would rent easily at $490 per week if an investment is your thing and certainly any improvements would increase this number. Perhaps the most significant motivating factor is the location. Only just up the road to Shannon Ave shopping strip and just a little bit further the other way to Pako. Prime spot for such a reasonable price.
