Geographe is well placed for a coastal suburb, with Busselton's town centre only a few minutes' drive away and the regional centre of Bunbury under an hour further north. There's no train network in this part of the South West, so a car is essential for commuting, school runs and shopping, though the local road network connecting Geographe to Wonnerup, Bovell and Busselton is straightforward and rarely congested.

Busselton Regional Airport, to the city's south, offers a further transport link for those travelling to Perth or beyond without the long drive.
